The London Mural Festival Is Back for 2024

The London Mural Festival is returning to London for its second edition

The city’s going to become one big canvas this August as the London Mural Festival is coming back for round two after debuting in 2020. The upcoming event, which is organised by London-based advertising agency and mural painting organisation Global Street Art, was announced yesterday with the unveiling of a 286m² portrait of Rembrandt at 100 Mare Street.

This year’s festival comes four years after the first, which saw work from the likes of Camille Walala, Dale Grimshaw, Marija Tiurina, Gary Stranger, Mr. Cenz, Bonzai, Suiko and Zabou displayed across 75 locations in 13 boroughs. The programme for the 2024 London Mural Festival hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll bring you more info as it comes.

About the forthcoming festival, Lee Bofkin, CEO and co-founder of Global Street Art, said: “London Mural Festival is an incredible initiative, borne out of our love for public art and our mission to live in painted cities. We can’t wait to bring the festival back to our beloved city next summer.”
