The Little Orchestra is getting festive for its next event with a performance of part one of Handel’s Messiah. But this isn’t going to be your usual classical concert; instead of a stuffy setting, Porchester Hall is being transformed into an intimate space so you’ll be able to soak up the music whilst sitting up close to the orchestra or even lounging on a sofa, and they will be joined by a choir for the very first time too. Conductor Nicholas Little will also be sharing some of the stories behind the music, which is perfect if you’ve never heard the piece before and it’ll get you nice and prepped for part two and three in 2019.
