on from that landmark Hyde Park gig this July, The Libertines have just announced news that they’re to headline Benicassim the same month.

The band will play the third day of the event, joining other acts such as Kasabian, Telegram and Drenge. We’re simply dead excited for this years event, boasting some of the finest acts on the festival circuit this year, it’s set to be a great one. Speaking in recent interviews, Pete Doherty revealed that new material could be on the cards for their summer sets.
