Spoken word festival The Last Word is returning to the Roundhouse this June for 19 days of performances that touch on everything from politics to mental health to identity through poetry, music, cabaret and more.

As ever, there’s going to be a lot to see but some particular highlights of this year’s fest include the Roundhouse Poetry Slam hosted by Joelle Taylor; Chloe Florence’s solo show Smoke Weed Eat Pussy Everyday, which explores rave culture; The Black Flamingo Cabaret led by poet and drag queen Dean Atta; and Words, Rhymes & Steam, a night of live music and poetry.

On top of all that, there’ll be live podcasts, film screenings, workshops and foodie events like Syrian Supper Club and a pub lunch from The Clink to get involved in too.
