Kills came storming back into our lives earlier on this year when they dropped new single ‘Doing It To Death’ and announced the release date for their fifth studio ‘Ash To Ice’. And now the blues-punk duo have unveiled their second track taken from the album ‘Heart Of A Dog’, with stomping rhythms, dripping guitar lines, killer hooks and growling vocals, this fuzzed up single oozes cool and is everything we love about The Kills packed into 3 and half minutes.

Far less serious than ‘Doing It To Death’, the accompanying video for ‘Heart Of A Dog’ shows just how loyal Mosshart and Hince are too each other. With snapshots of their friendship, the fun video has everything from cacti and palm trees, dogs and dice to backflips and swimming pools. Juxtaposed against the sludgy beat of the track, this video shows a softer side to The Kills and will make you hungry for more.

‘Ash & Ice’ is released 3rd June via Domino Records
