After showcasing the highly anticipated MARKERAD collab with Virgil Abloh during London Fashion Week, IKEA is finally getting ready to let us shop from the range. The collection sees IKEA’s classic designs reinterpreted and deconstructed by Virgil, finished with his signature Off-White quotation marks including Virgil’s version of the FRAKTA bag, printed with “SCULPTURE”; a rug designed to look like a receipt; a “TEMPORARY” clock; grey bedding; and a backlit Mona Lisa artwork.
It’s not gonna be easy to get your hands on it though. None of the collection will be sold online, instead you’ll have to snap up a ticket (these are released at 10am on 18th October) to get you entry to IKEA Wembley or IKEA Croydon, where you’ll then be able to shop up to five pieces during your allocated time slot.
