HUMBLE GRAPE IS FRESHLY UNCORKED IN CROUCH END

Already established in Battersea, Islington, Canary Wharf, Fleet Street and Liverpool Street, the (not so humble anymore) Humble Grape has opened wine bar number six in N8. Despite the brand’s ever-growing nature, the latest addition maintains its relaxed and understated neighbourhood vibe.

Decked out with timber and cork-clad walls, rustic crates and oak tabletops, the Crouch End branch is cosy and casual. Downstairs in the wine cellar, there’s a bonus 12-cover semi-private dining room for more intimate dinners and outside, the terrace is an ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine on warmer days. And as with their other locations, the bar hosts regular tastings and masterclasses so you can brush up on your wine knowledge.

This Humble Grape is stocked with 400 sustainable wines, available both in-bar and via the online shop, many of which cannot be found anywhere else in the UK. Sourced from independent makers, small producers and family-run vineyards, the wine offering champions biodynamic and organic winemaking. As for the food, dishes complement the wine list and range from cheese and charcuterie to padron peppers with whipped tahini to crispy duck leg with braised chicory & chard. Cheers to that!
