no secret that gin is the spirit of choice in our fair city. So, gin fans, put May 22nd in your diary because you’re going to want to get down to Beefeater Gin distillery as they open their doors for the very first time. The Home of London Gin, Beefeater’s is the only historic distillery still operating in the capital, which makes them perfectly placed to tell the story of the hallowed spirit.

You’ll be taken on an interactive tour of the Victorian cobbled streets of Covent Garden and be able to get up close and personal with the many herbs and botanicals used during distillation. Sounds good, right? Well, it gets better…After the history lesson you’ll be taken through the cathedral-like still house to see the distillers in action, before rounding off the tour with, of course, a classic gin and tonic. What’s not to love?

Beefeater London: The Home of Gin will be officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday 21 May and then opens its doors to the public from Thursday 22.
