THE HISTORY OF GIN AT BERRY BROS. & RUDD

With bars, restaurants, hotels, shops and galleries all calling St James’s home, there’s already a lot to discover in the area, but you can get the real inside scoop on these brands thanks to the St James’s One of a Kind series of masterclasses. This series, which includes masterclasses held everywhere from wine cellars to wellness spaces, showcases both the diversity of the area and the dedication that each brand has to its craft. Berry Bros. & Rudd, London’s oldest wine and spirits merchant, is taking you through the history of gin with this No.3 Gin masterclass.

No.3 Gin, with its notes of juniper, citrus, cardamom, coriander and angelica, is the only gin to be voted World’s Best Gin four times and it’s recently been given a new lease of life thanks to a fresh bottle design. The name No.3 is inspired by Berry Bros. & Rudd’s address at No.3 St James’s Street. During this masterclass, led by brand ambassador Richard Gillam, you’ll get an introduction to the world of No.3 as well as an overview on the history of gin and cocktail making, so if you’re partial to a G&T or a martini, this is definitely one for you.

The tickets are just £15 and include a welcome G&T, two additional cocktails and a BB&R cheese board, so it’s a right steal.
