THE HICCE TEAM HAS OPENED A PIZZERIA IN ISLINGTON

Slices and ciders have come to Islington in the shape of little pizza hicce, the latest opening from hicce founders Pip Lacey and Gordy McIntyre

Pip and Gordy already have a restaurant, shop and pub, and now they’ve added a pizzeria to their collection with the opening of little pizza hicce in Chapel Market – located just over the road from the hicce hart. The latest spin-off brand originally began life as a pop-up at the Goodness Brew taproom in Wood Green (you can still get the pizzas there), it’s now expanded into its own standalone site.

Just as at hicce and the hicce hart, the pizzeria uses only top quality ingredients from trusted suppliers and serves up a mix of classic toppings and more unusual combos, including:

  • mushroom, chilli, garlic, parsley, tomato & mozzarella fior di latte
  • Brett’s bresaola, tomato, rocket, caper berries, mozzarella fior di latte & olive oil
  • spring tomato, asparagus, jersey royals, radish, courgette, mozzarella fior di latte & hazelnuts

Pizza eating is thirsty work and little pizza hicce have you well covered on that front, with craft ciders and perries from Little Pomona and funky wines on the drinks list, and there’s even a bottle shop inside the pizzeria so you can buy them to take home too.
