The Hawley Arms is a staple of Camden Town. Everyone has stories from that pub, it was a beacon for musicians and celebs that liked to have a good bloody time. We remember randomly getting a photo with David Gest on the stairs, high fiving Noel Fielding, watching The Libertine’s drinking in the corner, seeing Razorlight’s Johnny Borrell wondering around in white jeans and sunglasses and a flat, warm pint that never seemed to be out of his hand and a whole lot more.
It’s a pub with history, charm and was a hangout from everyone from Amy Winehouse to Alexa Chung. However, it is now threatened to fall into the wrong hands as it has gone onto the market. The team looking after the pub don’t want to see The Hawley Arms be turned into something it shouldn’t or worse, more overpriced apartments.
