After Alessandro Michele teased the collab back at the start of the year as part of the Gucci AW/22 show, the Gucci x Adidas range – Guccidas? Adigucci? – has finally landed in all its technicolour glory. The collection is pretty comprehensive considering this is just the first drop, spanning womenswear, menswear and accessories, including visors, duffel bags, baseball caps, umbrellas and chain necklaces.

Michele has stuck to his same kitsch colour palette and unsurprisingly co-branding reigns supreme, with the Adidas trefoil being joined by the Gucci logo on tees, polos, jumpers and windbreakers, and caps, with Adidas’ signature three stripes getting the Gucci green-and-red treatment on tracksuits. Both brands produce iconic footwear so of course the Adidas Gazelle trainers and the Gucci horsebit loafers have been mashed up for the collection; there are Gazelles in a range of Gucci colourways, including an all-over monogrammed version, and there are horsebit slippers and clogs emblazoned with the Adidas trefoil. If you like your streetwear with a real retro twist, then Gucci x Adidas is the one for you.
