the first festival of the year having just finished we bring you the low down on all the action from Brighton’s The Great Escape…starting with Manchester based Spring King who play hooky guitar pop anthems. Their track ‘City’ is a prime example of how good they are, having all the ingredients of an indie floor-filler- energetic beats, fervent guitar and one hell of a chorus. We caught up with the band after they smashed through a rip roaring set at Dome Studio to see what they think of the inner city festival.

Live Dates…

Jul 3rd | Blissfields Festival, Winchester
Jul 17th | Truck Festival, Oxford
Sep 5th | Festival No 6, Portmeirion
