been hooked on their debut album ‘Loose Ends’ California’s Francisco the Man were high on our priority list for Brighton’s Great Escape Festival this year. The four piece, all with names worthy of a mention, Scotty Cantino, Néstor Romero, Abdeel Ortega and Brock Woolsey produce a sound that is monumentally thrilling live, big, scuzzy, raw and shakes up your bones. There set was a rocket explosion of superb guitar music, hooky choruses, killer melodies with clever interchanges between all four instruments. Impressive…we think so. We caught up with frontman Scotty and bassist Néstor after the show…
