The Good Egg is one of our fave spots in Stokey and bagels are one of our fave carb forms, so we’re double excited to hear that The Good Egg is opening a bagel shop and deli just down the road. Good Things, opening in September, will give The Good Egg crew much-needed space to keep up with bagel production, allowing the restaurant to focus on all the other food they dish up, meaning lots more bagels to go around.
Fillings are set to include trout lox & schmear; salt beef; ZFC schnitzel, smoked cheddar, bacon & pickled onions; pistachio butter & cherry jam PBJ; matzo fried fish, little gem & horseradish mayo; tahini chicken caesar & pine nut dukkah; caramelised banana, raw tahini, date syrup & cream cheese; and whitefish salad, and you’ll be able to eat and take them home. Good Things will also be stocked with salads, granola, whole babkas, cherry & pistachio malt shakes and more – good things indeed!
