f you’re tired of drinks on a packed pavement in Soho, there’s a new place to enjoy a pint this summer. For a limited time only, the Golden Hinde by London Bridge is getting transformed into a floating pub.
Every Thursday, the Main Deck of the full-size reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake’s Elizabethan galleon – the first English ship to circumnavigate the globe – will transform into a bar. Pints, music and views straight down the Thames? What better way to spend a summer evening.
Entry is free and guests will have access to explore the rest of the ship. Drake managed the whole circumnavigation without losing his sea legs. Four pints in, you might not be so lucky
