Handling, 2013 finalist in MasterChef The Professionals and head of Adam Handling at Caxton at St Ermin’s Hotel, is heading East with his new venture, The Frog. Opening next to the Old Truman Brewery, The Frog is all about relaxed dining, combining Adam’s theatrical cooking style with produce from local markets…there’ll even be an urban cultivator in the restaurant to supply the bar and kitchen with herbs. Small a la carte plates, a daily changing five-course tasting menu, and weekend brunch will all be coming out of the kitchen, with the bar focusing on homemade kombucha tea drinks and innovative cocktails. This Spitalfields restaurant is only the first of Adam’s planned openings under The Frog banner…sounds like a solid start to us.
