yet another new pub on the Dalston scene, we say new we mean refurbished. The latest grotty boozer to get a spanking face lift is The Fox located on Kingsland Road. We went along last night to check out what was in store and we were pleasantly surprised. The pub is now fully kitted out as a gastropub with a decent menu and ales and beers to match.

Although we didn’t get to try any of the dishes the burgers and Cornish pasty looked pretty tasty and the prices ain’t bad either. We have a feeling this place will be jumping on a weekend although at present the licence is only until 11pm.
