Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde? For those less in tune with their gaming side, these guys were the main man himself, Pac Man’s worst enemies. And guess what, they’re back along with the street fighters and rally racers of many 90’s childhood memories.

Opening on Peckham’s bustling Rye Lane is new arcade bar The Four Quarters. There are plenty of these over in the states however this is something relatively new and exciting for us Londoners.

Founders Joe Dowling and Tom Humphrey (owners of retro games store Retro Games Base) both share a passion for classic and rare games. Tron, Outrun, Street fighter II, Star Wars Trilogy, Asteroids, Defender, Space Invaders, Pac Man, Point Blank and Sega Rally are the lovingly restored machines dedicated to the cause so far.

The Four Quarters is set to open at the end of June, a brand new concept bar for London, what could be better? Quarters at the ready, round one, FIGHT!
