Selfridges did it at the start of May and now as lockdown restrictions continue to ease, Fortnum & Mason has followed suit by re-opening its food hall. The ground and lower ground floors of the iconic Piccadilly store, meaning you can shop for some very fancy groceries or treat yourself to a hamper.
To ensure the store is as safe as possible, there are reduced opening hours, one-way systems around the stairways, safety screens at the tills, and masks and visors for staff. Other areas of Fortnum’s, including the clothes and perfumery sections, will be opening in June.
