Cockpit Arts is London’s leading studios for contemporary crafts and this weekend they’re hosting their first ever midsummer Festival of Making, and it’s totally FREE. 65 events featuring over 80 makers will be taking place online, on Zoom, Instagram and Facebook across the weekend – there’ll be live demos, workshops, studio tours and panel workshops from some of the best designers, weavers, jewellers, engravers, ceramicists and printmakers in town.
Nine makers will also be taking part in The Big Make challenge, creating a complete object from start to finish over the course of the festival, so check in Sunday afternoon to see the finished pieces.
