Our HQ is currently in mourning, because The Dolphin pub has only gone and lost it licence…Oh woe is us! No more banging heads on a Sunday morning, no more walk of shames at 7am every weekend and no more generally losing our heads in there.
But it’s not all bad, they do still have a licence until 1:30am and there is still 3 weeks left of the current 4am licence – best get down there this weekend then – and if they do appeal the decision they get to keep the 4am licence until it goes goes to court. What’s more you may remember a while back another East institution lost it’s late licence, EFES and that’s still going…
A a wise man once said “They can take away our licences but they’ll never claim our fun”. We’ll drink to that!
