THE DESIGN MUSEUM IS HOSTING AN IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION ON NETFLIX

You spend your time watching it and soon you’ll be able to go inside it as an immersive exhibition all about Netflix is coming to the Design Museum. It’s been ten years – doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun – since the streaming platform launched in the UK and the exhibition is going to celebrate that anniversary by taking “a closer look at the key elements of the Netflix experience, its evolution over time, and underpinning design philosophy. The exhibit will also showcase this design journey from a different perspective through fan favourites.” With shows like The Queen’s Gambit, Tiger King, The Crown, Sex Education, Stranger Things and Squid Game just some of the recent blockbuster titles the platform has produced, they’re not gonna struggle for content.

This isn’t Netflix’s first time jumping off the screen and IRL – they’ve got an immersive Money Heist experience running in London right now and Secret Cinema’s take on Bridgerton is on the way- so we’re expecting big things from this Design Museum link-up. We don’t know exactly when the exhibition is gonna open or even what’s going to on display but we’ll be keeping a close eye on this so check back for more.
