you love fried chicken, espresso martinis, giant mirror balls and dancing then you’ll no doubt have dreamt of a place where you can get all these things under one roof. Well Dead Dolls Club have only gone and made those dreams come true with their new venue, The Arch, on Cambridge Heath Road.

Located, unsurprisingly, under a railway arch, DDC have drafted in the Check On boys (who also run The Pearl restaurant at the top of The Dolls House) to provide a menu of seriously good fried chicken. It’s ALL about the Check On burger – fried chicken breast, hash brown, cheese, tomato and lettuce – but the wings, strips, and sides like corn on the cob are all winners too.

After all that chicken you’re going to need some perking up and this is where the espresso martinis come in, which you can grab from a dedicated bar at the front of the venue. If espresso martinis aren’t you thing then you can still get classic cocktails and craft beers at the main bar.

The Arch is a great spot and much more of a party venue than The Dolls House in Hoxton Square. With that mirror ball, DJs, live music and a late licence, it’s got pretty much everything you need for a night out east.
