American design icon Kelly Wearstler has partnered with H&M Home on a 29-piece interior collection, the Scandinavian brand’s first ever furniture collaboration and Wearstler’s Milan Design Week debut. Known for her bold, maximalist hospitality interiors, Wearstler built the collection around the idea of “daily rituals”, with modular, reconfigurable pieces designed to furnish an entire room using wood, metal, ceramics, marble and textiles.
The collection debuted through a conceptual installation at Palazzo Acerbi during Milan Design Week back in April, produced by Studio Boum, before its full reveal this August. Standout pieces include the Curva vase, and the Soluna Lounge, Poma Accent and Avern chairs, all channelling Wearstler’s signature aesthetic in a more accessible, democratic form. The collaboration also extends into fashion, with an 8-piece ready-to-wear capsule featuring strong-shouldered outerwear, a sequin skirt and a vase-printed slip dress, available exclusively online.
“We aimed to create a complete collection that could furnish an entire room,” says Wearstler. “It’s about offering inspiring and important pieces that can also become part of our everyday moments.”
