you’ve seen The Chemical Brothers’ stunning clip for ‘Wide Open’, you’d have definitely asked yourself how the hell they did it, and now you can watch the entire process in the ‘making-of’ video of the actual video. Directed by long-time collaborators dom&nic, and featuring the lush vocals of Beck, the mechanical and organic merge together in ‘Wide Open’, having been inspired by procedural cellular structures. It’s quite breathtaking stuff to watch, from the concept art to the 7,000 frames it took to bring the project to life, while dancer Sonoya Mizuno gets gradually transformed into something not of this world.
