The Chelsea Pig has been standing on the corner of Old Church Street and Poulton Street since 1892, so it’s about time it had a bit of a makeover, and that’s exactly what’s happening thanks to designer Timothy Oulton. He’s better known for furniture rather than pubs, but he’s putting his stamp on the place with a handcrafted moonstone bar, hand-finished leather seating, modern chandeliers, and vintage furniture from his personal archive.

Like the design, the menu has been refined to focus on elevated pub grub dishes, with the likes of beef wellington, halibut in champagne sauce, house burger, lobster mac & cheese, and Hereford rib of beef on the menu. The bar will be fully stocked too with premium beers, spirits, wines, champers and cocktails. Sounds like all you Chelsea folk have a got a great new local on your hands.
