The Cause may have had to shut the doors on its Tottenham home at the start of 2022 but the club isn’t out for the count
Not only is The Cause not down and out, it’s about to celebrate its fifth birthday with five massive nights. When the original Ashley House site had to close, the team began the task of finding a new home, which led to the start of the pop-up series Possibly Maybe at an indoor/outdoor brutalist space in East London. And this is the spot where The Cause will be ringing in the big birthday.
It’s all kicking off on 24th February with a fundraiser to support those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey & Syria, followed by Masters at Work present ‘MAW Lost Tapes’, ‘A Very, Very Good Friday’ featuring Sonja Moonear and Hiroko Yamamura, and a High Waters boat party, finishing with The Cause 5th Birthday, with plenty of unannounced guests dropping by.
