The Cause Is Staying in East London for 2024

Following a big fifth birthday event last year and months of work, DIY nightclub The Cause is settling into its Dock Road space for the year

The Cause may have had to shut the doors on its Tottenham home at the start of 2022 but that wasn’t the end for the club. When the original Ashley House site had to close, the team began the task of finding a new home, which led to the start of the pop-up series Possibly Maybe at an indoor/outdoor brutalist space in East London. This was the spot where The Cause rang in its fifth birthday with five massive parties featuring the likes of Masters at Work and Sonja Moonear.

After building the space and installing new lighting and sound systems over the last year, all whilst hosting the likes of Fred Again, Nia Archives, Ross From Friends and Jayda G, the team has secured the multi-room and outdoor courtyard space on Dock Road on a meanwhile basis, so they’ll be here for 2024. The first official party of the year had Optimo, Pablo Bozzi, Binh and more christen the new-look space and it looks set to be another massive year for the club with Michelle Manetti, Special Request, Flowdan, Evian Christ, Katya, Adonis, 2CPerrera and Whoosh Wheng just some of the DJs and parties passing through. There are plenty more nights to be announced but if you’re keen to get down to The Cause, there are tickets for the flagship events on sale now.
