We’ve Experience The Caribbean‘ bloggers campaign. And seriously….5 days in the Caribbean – what were we gonna do, turn it down?!been tasked with travelling to the Caribbean (St Lucia and Tobago) with British Airways as part of the Time Out ‘
Flying from Gatwick we landed in St Lucia just 24 hours ago. Straight off the plane we hopped into a chopper (You may now call us Bond) and flew up to the North part of the island. After a brief stop at Castries Market, where we loaded up on some Banana Ketchup to bring home – here’s hoping it’s good – we headed to our hotel, Landings and checked into our PAD.
The PAD is a two room bungalow with kitchen, walk-in wardrobe, patio that leads to the beach and private hot-tub. CHA-CHING. A quick dip and we were off to the St Lucia Jazz and Art festival where we even caught a jazz version of Pharrell’s Happy. Set on Pigeon Island it’s quite something sitting amongst the palm trees, sipping a rum and red bull with the sea in the background.
Dinner on day one was at The Body Holiday, a wellness resort which even has a wine tasting room and many restaurants including one that offers an 8 course tasting menu with matching wines – our kind of wellness.
So far, so good! Stay tuned for the next update or keep an eye on the Time Out live feed.
