It’s harvest season, a period that celebrates abundance and prosperity, and gastropub The Buxton is getting in the spirit by collecting canned and dried food to donate to their local East London food bank. The Buxton is committed to regenerative farming and making use of their own outdoor and rooftop spaces to grow produce, so the team is asking people to donate natural and organic foods where possible in the hopes of providing those in need with healthy options at their local food bank. In return for your generous donation, The Buxton will be offering you a free half pint (or an alcohol-free drink if you’re off the sauce) as thanks for the gesture. The can collection is running for a week so there’s plenty of time to get your donations in.
