There are two things we really love music festivals and holidays, so imagine our delight when we came across The Weezer Cruise. A music festival on a boat which sails from Miami to Cozumel an Island off Mexico and back – aye papi!
The Weezer cruise sets sail on January 19th 2012 for four days of music, partying and general good times!
Playing with Weezer are special guests Dinosaur Jr., as well as Sebadoh, Gene Ween and Dave Dreiwitz, Wavves, The Antlers, Yuck, Free Energy, Boom Bip, J Mascis (solo acoustic), Lou Barlow, Keepaway, Ozma, The Nervous Wreckords, The Knocks, Sleeper Agent and Yacht Rock Revue.
Bands will perform on the outdoor Lido deck and in the inside theater. All of the bands will be performing in stages around the ship, festival style, so you can catch any or all of them during the entire trip to Cozumel and back.

The “Destiny” is a fully functioning cruise ship and floating resort that features gourmet dining, 24-hour room service (free of charge whenever you want!), pools, hot tubs, a full-service casino, waterslide, world-class spa services and more.
