inside The Bloomsbury hotel underneath The Dalloway Terrace, The Bloomsbury Club Bar is a new bar that celebrates the literary heritage of the area and the golden age of cocktails. Taking inspiration from the 1920s and 30s, bar manager Brian Calleja has given many old cocktails a new lease of life…the Virginia Woolf is a blend of No. 3 gin, fresh lemon juice, homemade raspberry shrub, Cochi Americano and egg white; the Leonard Woolf is Makers Mark bourbon, ginger syrup and orange bitters; and the signature Gin and Milk is a combination of Hayman’s Old Tom Gin, full cream and sugar gomme.

To complement the cocktail list, the bar offers a cigar menu complete with drinks parings and a Club Bites food menu, featuring small plates like salt & pepper squid, crispy lamb goujons, and tuna tartare. Split into two distinct areas…the dark wood and leather main bar, and the more bohemian outer terrace…the Bloomsbury Club Bar is the place to go if you’re after a little sophistication.
