sell-out Blitz Party is back next month celebrating all things British in true D-Day style. Yes, if you’ve ever wondered what is was like for your great grandparents down in those air raid shelters during the war then this is the event for you!

For one night only this East London hang out will be transformed into a wartime air shelter complete with sandbags, blackout curtains, searchlights and military bunk beds. Don your most glamorous 1940’s get up and dance the night away in the swing dance hall, with music from live swing bands, performers and DJ’s who will be playing some of the finest tunes the 40’s had to offer.

There will be champagne and some decent British ale on sale from the Spitfire Bar as well as some war time snacks – don’t be too greedy though as this stuffs rationed innit! Original newsreels and wartime films will also be projected throughout the evening taking you right back to the action. Tickets will cost you £20 in advance and can be purchased here.
