The Best Wellness Festivals in the UK in 2025

Do festival season a little differently this year

Music festivals may be a summer staple but if you want to come back from a long weekend in a field feeling refreshed and energised, rather than needing a week to recover, these wellness festivals are the way to do it. Less about dancing in a muddy field and subsisting on warm cider, more about meditation, movement and mental stimulation, these festivals are here to help you find your balance. Yes there’s still music and you can still hit the bar, but you can also go wild swimming, take on a trail run, slow down with a sound bath and indulge in 2025’s hottest wellness trend, saunas and cold plunges.

So if you’re looking to escape the city, connect with nature and recharge your batteries this summer, these are the best wellness festivals happening across the country.

The Big Retreat | Lawrenny, Wales

The Big Retreat is retuning to the countryside village of Lawrenny in Pembrokeshire, Wales for four days of fun at the end of May, giving festivalgoers the chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Fitness, wellbeing, conversation and music is all on the agenda. Whether you want to slow down with yoga and breathwork, go for a massage in the Woodland Spa, get your heart rate pumping with energetic exercise, or go wild swimming and paddleboarding on the Cleddau estuary, there’s a range of fitness and wellness activities to choose from. Comedian and mental health campaigner Ruby Wax, author Donna Ashworth, shelf help founder Toni Jones, ADHD Love and biohacking expert Dr Alka Patel are all on the line-up for the Talk Tent. Music will be coming from the likes of Newton Faulkner, The Beatles Dub Club, Revival – The Abba Tribute Band, and Gok Wan. And you’ll be well fed too with a range of food traders on site, plus culinary demos and talks from Fell Foodie, Ellen Picton and Kwoklyn Wan.

And it’s even better for our INSIDERS, who can bag 20% OFF tickets to The Big Retreat here.
