Face coverings are mandatory on public transport, inside shops and inside hospitality venues when not sat at a table in England so you’ll need to be prepared. Rather than going for a medical-grade mask (save the PPE for the NHS peeps), you want to get a reusable mask. Cotton ones are a good bet as they’re easy to wash and you’ll want it to be pretty well fitting around your face to better catch any droplets. Here are some of our fave face masks.

The British Fashion Council and Bags of Ethics have teamed up to make sustainable masks designed by Halpern, Julien Macdonald, Liam Hodges, Mulberry, RAEBURN and RIXO.
