Dinings SW3 – if you’re looking for a baller bento box then this one from Knightsbridge spot Dinings SW3 is the one. At £150 for two people it ain’t cheap, and you’ll need to order 48 hours in advance but it is seriously luxe. The two-layer box, which also comes with handmade wooden chopsticks and a pair of mother of pearl spoons, features the likes of miso-marinated black cod, toro tartare with Oscietra caviar, A5 wagyu fillet, yellowtail sushi, potted native lobster cake, and hand-dived scallop sushi, and it’s so intricately presented that it’s almost too beautiful to eat.
Sake no Hana – if you can’t decide between sushi and hot food, Sake no Hana has you covered with their bento boxes. All boxes come with ncludes salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, spicy tuna roll, salmon avocado roll, crunchy crab roll, and wakame seaweed miso soup, with a main of soy glazed salmon, chicken teriykai or yuzu chilli miso black cod, and there’s a veggie sushi and deep fried tofu box on offer too.
Issho-Ni – the Bethnal Green restaurant is open for dine-in again but their Issho-Ni At Home delivery service is still going strong.
