To celebrate the World Cup and the sense of unity that comes along with being a football fan, WeWork has teamed up with Common Goal, a platform that lets professional footballers donate 1% of their salaries, to give back to the local community. As well as giving away limited edition WeWork x Common Goal ‘The Beautiful Game’ t-shirts for donations of £10 or more (which also enters you in a prize draw to win signed football merch), WeWork Old Street is hosting a talk on making a business out of football, moderated by The Athletic Network’s Akin Solanke-Caulker and featuring both a Premier League player and an England national footballer.
