THE ATLAS GRINDS TEAM IS OPENING HOUSE OF HADES IN HACKNEY

Cocktail bar and restaurant incubator House of Hades is opening on the old Silver Lining site in Hackney

Queer-owned coffee shop, cocktail bar and co-working space Atlas Grinds has been serving the good people of Stokey so well that the founders are expanding with a second site in Hackney Central. Opening at the end of March, House of Hades will be a celebration of the queer-owned, creator economy community, operating as a cocktail bar and a space for start-up food businesses and chef entrepreneurs to run pop-ups.

We don’t know what’s going to be on the cocktail list at House of Hades but if it’s anything like the Atlas Grinds selection, which includes the Stokey Negroni (with Mezcal Amores Verde Momento, Campari & plum sake), the Money Honey (with Cazcabel Honey tequila, fermented pineapples & lime) and the Disco Sour 2: Electric Boogaloo (with Pisco, lime, kiwi, bitters & beetroot syrup), it’ll be good. We do know who’ll be first to take over the kitchen though – inclusivity and sustainability champion Fatima Tarkleman.

And with a 2am closing time on weekends, House of Hades will have DJs from the likes of Cybill’s House, Dalston Superstore, Adonis, Riposte and Howl passing through to spin some tunes.

Opens Fri 31st March 2023
13 Morning Lane, London E9 6ND
