After celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Oyster Card with a limited edition set of kicks back in October, Adidas is hooking up with TfL once again. This time there’ll be way more trainers on offer – ten different pairs to be exact – with a shoe dedicated to every tube line.
The London Underground set consists of six pairs of Continental 80s; each pair focuses on two lines (so there’s one shoe for each of the twelve), with the appropriate colour roundel on the heel. The Elizabeth Line set, to honour the as-yet-unopened purple line, includes four different styles – Stan Smith, Samba Rose, Falcon and Gazelle – done up in purple and gold.
Running for the tube has never looked so good.
