TAYER + ELEMENTARY RE-OPENS WITH KITCHEN FM
Old Street cocktail bar Tayer + Elementary is back in business post-lockdown and now that Tata Eatery have taken their katsu sando elsewhere, there’s a new partner in the kitchen too. Kitchen FM, run by French chefs Fabien Spagnolo and Max Truel, are now doing the food with dishes like pig’s head croquette with kimchi & oyster mayo, deep fry chicken with maple glaze, marinated peppers with fermented greens & focaccia, and plum jam with ginger ice cream on the menu.
Currently, only the front bar Elementary is open (Tayer and its kitchen counter is coming back in October) with new drinks like a fresh pale ale from Partizan Brewing and new skin contact wine 6/4 On Leaves alongside old faves like the One Sip Martini and the ēe Frozen Coffee. If you’d rather drink at home, the bar is still running its bottle shop so you can take batched cocktails away.
