TATTU OPENS IN THE WEST END

Contemporary Chinese restaurant group Tattu, which has sites in Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham, is has come down south to the capital. The group’s fifth branch, a massive 180-cover space, has taken over the rooftop of the Now Building on Denmark Street, so that means as well as epic interiors from Joyce Wang Studio, you’ll be able to enjoy panoramic views over Soho from the terrace. The restaurant has taken inspo from a traditional Chinese courtyard house, with four distinct areas featuring elements like a copper-pannelled wall, stone garden and cherry blossom chandelier, and it’s all very Instagrammable.

Executive Chef Andrew Lasseter has creating something brand new for the capital with lots of entirely new dishes – the menu for Tattu London includes the likes of dim sum of pearly king crab dumpling, royal koi fish gau, black cod croquettes, seven spice seared tuna, red roast master stock belly pork, Chilean seabass, Grade 5 wagyu beef ribeye, bubble tea & cotton cake, and koi fish panna cotta. Tattu is also launching their Sunday Sunset sessions this month, where resident DJs will spin from 1pm before a headline DJ takes to the decks from 6pm – 9pm as the sun goes down, with Tim Green kicking it all off on 26th June.
