It’s flown a bit under the radar but a new chicken shop is taking roost in Shoreditch on the bottom end of Kingsland Road right next door to Two Lights. Inspired by simple and rustic summer meals, Taste Like Chicken will specialise in rotisserie birds marinated in a secret recipe rub. There’s not much menu info online as yet but we’re told the chicken is designed for sharing alongside sides – rosemary & garlic potatoes and mixed salad have been mentioned on socials – dips and puddings. First Sidechick, then Royale and now this….rotisserie chicken is really having a moment.
