Always wanted to learn more about whisky? Now’s your chance
The sheer array of whisky now available can make getting into the spirit a little intimidating. Even if you’re not a whisky novice, you may only really know varieties from traditional whisky countries like Scotland, Ireland and America. That’s where The Whisky Exchange comes in – the retailer has over 500 world whiskies from over 20 countries in stock, from England to Japan to New Zealand and plenty of places in between.
Now we’re helping you taste your way around the world with this exclusive barrel top whisky tasting masterclass at The Whisky Exchange. Held at the London Bridge store, the masterclass will feature five ‘barrels’, each showcasing a different region (like America or Ireland), which you can make your way around at your own pace.
There’ll be at least 20 different whiskies to try – in small sample pours so you don’t have to worry about overdoing it – and each barrel will be hosted by an expert from The Whisky Exchange team, on hand to provide info on all the whiskies you taste. And if you find a new fave, you’ll be able to make purchases after the tasting.
