Before train journeys became all delayed and squashed, they used to be actually luxurious and fun. Luckily Belmond still has one of the fun ones, the legendary Belmond British Pullman which they are still using to whisk guests back to the 1920s.
For its next event they’ve got Tanqueray gin on board for a one-off journey that involves a seven course dinner and lots of gin. Taking place on 22nd November, guests will board the train at Victoria before being taken on a scenic tour of the countryside accompanied by a pretty special dinner and live entertainment. This journey will begin with a Tanqueray No. TEN gin & tonic reception and guests will then be served a menu of seven dishes perfectly paired with matching gin cocktails, with prices starting from £405 per person.
