is all the rage these days, just look at all the gin gardens popping up? The latest sees Tanqueray gin join forces with Carom to open a Botanical Gin Garden in the heart of Soho. The secret garden has taken over the glass roofed atrium and is filled with terracotta pots full of flowers, spices and herbs, and jam jars crammed with vanilla pods and lemongrass, all ready to be foraged and blended into your own bespoke cocktail.

The space is a cross between Amazonian jungle and Nana’s garden. There are antique benches packed with the botanicals of Tanqueray gin distillation for sitting on and guests recieve baskets on arrival to fill with ingredients, we played it pretty safe for our first go with Blueberries, strawberries, cinnamon and vanilla. Botanical mixologists in the making! As the evening went on, we let the real guys do the rest and tried the rose & lychee, pretty and sweet, and Rangpur Southside, a little fierier!

The Botanical Gin Garden is a full on sensory experience, touch, smell, explore, forage and knock it back! With events running until 31st October, head down to Soho for some seriously good gin fun.
