TAKEAWAY ???????????? ARE GO!

Nature is returning, the pubs are reopening people! That’s right you can score takeaway pints to take to the parks (OR have at home) AND in some pubs you even get to go up to the bar and order! HOORAY. Here is our list of places to score a crisp, cold pint. All are observing social distancing rules so you should too and take note, none have their toilets open. Most of them will, however, fill up your own container which means you can be green. CHEERS GUYS.

NORTH

The Prince, N16 – Only open Friday – Sunday, 2pm – 6pm this local pub has the longest list of beers we’ve seen to takeaway.

Clissold Park Tavern, N16 – This pub is just off Clissold Park so the walk time is under one minute, and you get to go in and order at the bar. Just like the good old days. Aperol Spritz and pizza too! From 3pm daily.

Rose and Crown, N16 – Open Wed – Sun, 2pm – 6pm this is the place for real ales & lager plus they provide jugs to takeaway and reuse. On Fridays there are hot dogs too.

The Queensbury, NW2 – Takeaway pints and Pimms. Summer essentials.

The Prince of Wales, NW1 – Right next to Primrose Hill, we challenge you to grab a beer and walk to the top…10 points to anyone who makes it there with an untouched pint!

The Stag, NW3 – One of our fave pubs in London – those cabanas! Now doing takeaway pints and you’re not far from the Heath. WINNER.

The Gatehouse, N6 – Cold draught beer and deli goods. A one stop boozer for your picnic needs.

The Landseer Arms, N19 – Another pizza and beer option and it’s not too far from Finsbury Park.

The Golden Lion, NW1 – Thursday – Sunday and they do roasts too.

The Red Lion & Sun, N6 – As well as doing pints, the Highgate pub is also selling takeaway wine and food, including Sunday roasts. That’s all your essentials covered then.

The George & Monkey, EC1R – takeaway pizza & beer, Wed – Sun 3pm -7pm

EAST

Pub on The Park, E8 – This one is literally in London Fields so the effort required for a cold one is minimal

The Dove, E8 – On Broadway Market this one was an early adopter of the takeaway beer. The one that was on the news. TUT TUT

Howl at The Moon, N1 – This Hoxton Street boozer ain’t too far away from Shoreditch Park. Grab a beer Thursday – Saturday, noon – 8pm either in their jars or take your own.

The Gun, E9 – Grab a beer and some Korean food and head to Well Street Common.

People’s Park Tavern, E9 – The Victoria Park pub is doing takeaway pints and Pimms, Wednesday – Friday, 2pm – 8pm and then from midday on the weekends.

The Empress, E9 – You can get takeaway pints, Pimms, growlers of craft beer and natural wine, and click-and-collect Sunday roasts at the Victoria Park Village boozer.

The Star by Hackney Downs, E5 – Draft beers and cocktails are being poured at this Hackney pub seven days a week, 2pm – 8pm.

SOUTH

The Prince of Wales, SE11 – Set in the pretty Cleaver Square off the main road, we’d be tempted to buy and sip outside.

The Crooked Well, SE5 – Draft beer and cocktails to go AND if you go Sunday there is takeaway roast too. WINNING.

The Orchard, SE4 – Cocktails, draft beer, wines and food is being served from the door and there’s plenty of green spaces within walking distance too.

The Alma, SE19 – In their own words “Simply bring anything that holds liquid, we’ll measure it & fill it with draft beer” YEY. Not too far from Crystal Palace Park either.

The Wheatsheaf, SW17 – 7 days a week from 10am – 7pm this place ain’t doing things by halves (pun intended!)

Big John’s Biltong Bar, SE8 – This Deptford fave is pouring takeaway beers, ciders and Guinness, with pies, wings, toasties and sausage rolls for you to munch on too.

WEST

The Pear Tree, W6 – Open daily for pints and food to takeaway.

The Troubadour, SW5 – Not content with just doing takeaway pints, the Earl’s Court boozer is also doing coffee, wine, cocktails and classic pub grub to go too.

CENTRAL

The Sutton Arms, EC1 – Open Wed – Sun, 12 – 7pm AND they have a cute dog so really it’s a double win.
