This January, Brockwell Lido is teaming up with Warm Spaces – a charity that helps connect people with safe, warm and welcoming spaces – to raise money for those facing the harshest conditions this winter. Every day until the 31st, you can head to the pool and pay £1 to take a cold dip, with all the funds raised going towards supporting Warm Spaces’ work. So, not only will you reap all the benefits of cold water swimming (which include alleviating the symptoms of anxiety and depression, reducing stress, and even boosting libido), but you’ll be putting your cash towards a good cause.
