It was a very small-scale affair which accommodated just 4000 campers and whilst the festival got 'family-friendly' down to a tee, the campsite needed better designation between families and regular campers as we saw a drunk man dressed as a lion, who possibly even scaring Bambi and his mates in the process, at 3am isn't exactly a great advert. However, The Horrors, Public Service Broadcasting and De La Soul being our musical highlights of the weekend. Whilst we understand that Forgotten Fields is in its first year, oversights such as having a too-small campsite which forced people to practically camp on top of each other and pitch up less than five feet away from the main campsite portaloos, but we hope that it can overcome its basic teething problems and become one of the South of England's main music festival attractions. www.forgottenfields.co.uk
