Thousands of you will take to the streets on Sunday 26th April for a beastly 26.2 mile run from Blackheath to the Mall Running 26.2 miles is hard work, so if you’re crossing the London Marathon finish line with a medal round your neck, you may as well rinse it for all it’s worth. From free pints and kebabs to cheesecake, pasta and even a full roast, plenty of London spots are dishing out rewards for runners on race day and beyond. Here’s where to flash your medal and get something back. Pretty Decent Beer Co - Pretty Decent is pouring marathon finishers a free pint on race day when they show their medal at the bar. And if that first one goes down well, pints are £4 for the rest of the day too. You can claim across all three East London taprooms: Victoria Park, Forest Gate and Walthamstow. Vinegar Yard - Vinegar Yard is offering marathon runners a free drink on race day when they show their medal. If you want somewhere lively to collapse afterwards, it’s a strong shout, with bars and plenty of street food traders on hand near London Bridge. Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden + Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea - If you want something with a bit more flavour than a protein bar, medal holders can get a free chaat at Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden and Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea. Expect Indian street food that leans sweet, spicy and tangy. Valid 26th April only. One chaat per person for medal holders. Mouse Tail Coffee - The marathon route goes past two of Mouse Tail Coffee's five London locations (in Deptford and Canada Water), and once you've finished (and any time up until 3rd May), you can bag a free coffee and a sandwich by flashing your medal at any of the branches. Prince Arthur - Prince Arthur in Belgravia is offering medal holders a free pint or a glass of house bubbles on marathon day. It’s only about a 20-minute walk from the finish line, so a good one if you want to celebrate without going too far, and there are bar snacks if you need a little refuel too. La Maritxu - La Maritxu in Kingly Court is giving the first 100 marathon runners who show their medal a free slice of its signature Basque cheesecake on 26th April. If a slab of caramelised, creamy cheesecake sounds like the right way to recover, move fast. Castle Pubs - Castle Pubs is giving marathon runners a free pint of Camden Hells on race day, so you can swap the sports drink for something colder. The offer is running across its London pubs, including spots like The Gipsy Moth in Greenwich, The Sun Inn in Barnes, The White Horse in Parsons Green and The Engineer in Primrose Hill. Valid 26th April only. One draught pint of Camden Hells per person for medal holders. Kolamba - Kolamba is rewarding London Marathon finishers with either a Lion Lager or a glass of bubbles. You’ll need to dine in and show your medal, which gives you a very good excuse to turn your recovery meal into a Sri Lankan feast. Le Bab - Le Bab is giving runners a free kebab when they show either their race bib or marathon medal. The offer runs until 1st May, so there’s a bit of time to cash in once your legs start working properly again. Fair Shot Cafe - If coffee, rather than booze, is more your speed Fair Shot Cafe is giving marathon finishers a free one when they show their medal. The offer is running until 1st May, so you don’t need to drag yourself there straight after the race. Chipotle - Chipotle is helping runners refuel with a free main meal across Sunday 26th and Monday 27th April. Just show your 2026 finisher’s medal at the till and claim your post-race burrito, bowl, salad or tacos. JENKI Matcha Bar - JENKI is giving marathon finishers a free matcha on 26th April. Just show your medal and collect your reward if you’d rather celebrate with caffeine than lager. Kitty Hawk - Kitty Hawk is going big, with a free Sunday roast for runners showing their medal. Close to the marathon finish, it’s a very solid option if what you really want after the race is roast potatoes, gravy and a seat. Gaucho - Gaucho is offering marathon medal holders a complimentary steak at any of its 11 London restaurants. The freebie can be redeemed from race day until 29th April, with cuts including sirloin, ribeye, rump and fillet. Mr Fogg’s Taverns - Mr Fogg’s Taverns is offering medal holders a free pint across all four sites: St Martin’s Lane, Fitzrovia, Liverpool Street and Soho. You can choose from Stella Artois, Camden Hells, Modelo, Guinness or Aspalls, and just need to show your medal at the bar. One free pint per person for medal holders. Emilia’s Crafted Pasta - Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is handing out medal-shaped pasta tokens at the finish line and stations where possible, which runners can redeem for a free bowl of pasta at any site. Carb loading is done, now it’s carb recovery. One voucher per table. Cannot be used with any other offer. Valid with any bowl of pasta at any Emilia’s location. Not valid Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm. Polo Bar - Polo Bar is giving medal holders a free stack of its pancakes, available day and night. Toppings include berries and cream, Biscoff banoffee, and cookies and cream, so whether you want brunch or a late-night sugar hit, you’re covered. Lush - If your legs need more help than your stomach, Lush is giving away free products to marathon runners on 26th April while stocks last. Show your 2026 medal at Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Victoria or Paddington and you can pick up the brand’s marathon-exclusive Ouchy magnesium massage balm and The Good Hour shower jelly.
