First there was an opportunity……then there was a betrayal. Renton, Spud, Sick Boy and Begbie are BACK 20 years later – much has changed, but a lot has stayed the same. Renton returns to the only place he’s ever called home and they are all waiting for him, along with some other old friends; sorrow, loss, joy, vengeance, hatred, friendship, love, longing, fear, regret, diamorphine, self-destruction and mortal danger, are all lined up to welcome him, ready to join the dance.
Danny Boyle has reunited the original cast and it’s set to be a very emotional as the film tells you to think about yourself. So “Choose life, choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and hope that someone, somewhere cares.”
